XX1 cassettes last about 2.5x as long as GX cassettes as they're machined from one, solid piece of alloy and not pinned. Yes, they're pricey like all high end mtb gear, but they're the same `value' as GX when you take their lifespan into consideration.
They’re also mega light and bling your bike up like nothing else.
